Dancing with the Stars 2010
Dancing with the Stars, Baton Rouge is a creative fundraising event that will support the programmatic efforts of the Big Buddy Program. Modeled after the hit ABC television show, our local event will feature many of our community's leaders and prominent citizens as they present their ballroom dance.Providence Corporate Cup

All City 2010 - The 4th annual WordPlay Teen Poetry Slam Festival
WordPlay teaches the craft of poetry and self-expression to teens and creates spaces where artistic and civic voices can be amplified. WordPlay Teen Writing Project builds literary culture and community among diverse teens through poetry workshops, spoken word events, publications and educator resources.
You Can Make the Difference
Individuals can give direct to support one or more of the over 2,300 youth served on a weekly basis. Your donation of $30.00 per month can ensure that a youth has a ride home after participation in an after school program; provide a caring role model to help him/her to complete homework assignments; or provide access to enrichment activities after school on a daily basis.Your donation of $20.00 per month will ensure that a child in need of a special friend has a one-on-one role model that he or she can look to for guidance and support as they move towards success.
